One Love is a club with a proud membership of 300+ and counting skiers of all abilities. However, we also have many members who want to take their riding to the next level. As such, we’ve developed a club team to sponsor and support athletes who are interested in competing in skiing in freeride disciplines. This team supports many talented athletes by helping students get travel funding, plan trips to collegiate competitions, and providing professors with valid reasons for students’ absences due to competitions.

One Love members who are students wishing to compete on behalf of the University of Utah on the Freeride World Qualifying circuit can buy a collegiate license and list our school on it. We also encourage you to reach out to our manager, Sloane Gordon, at sgordon238@gmail.com or 3074139355 for more information on how to get involved with the team or if you’re interested in competing for the first time.

Last season, the University of Utah was ranked first for Male Ski on the FWQ circuit, with one member qualifying to the Freeride World Tour next year. We hope to not only keep this trend going but also find more female ski and snowboard as well as male snowboard competitors.

Here are a few more notable finishes from One Love members last season:

1st – Overall Male Ski – University of Utah
3rd- Overall Male Ski – Liam Peiffer
4th – Overall Male Ski – Isaac Freeland
2nd – Kicking Horse Wrangle the Chute Female Ski – Emma Patterson
